Disconnect the me in me.

I don’t know what it is about Smashing Pumpkins. Normally I hate this kind of angst-filled screeching but there’s something about their execution that really speaks to me. Part of it is definitely Billy Corgan and his lyrics; they go beyond the emo grocery lists that pass off as lyrics today. Perhaps a more hardcore Pumpkins fan can explain this resonance to me? We shall see. In the meantime, here’s an explosive performance of perhaps my favorite song of theirs.
