And hell freezes over.

As we all anxiously await the release of The Dark Knight, let us all come together and bask in the glory of an interview that isn’t about Heath Ledger.

All this talk of a posthumous Oscar for Heath makes me think of one thing as I watch this: How does Gary Oldman not have one? More to the point, how is it that the man has never been nominated? Just goes to show you how silly those awards are when you think about it.

Speaking of which, Terry Gilliam has lashed out at Warner Bros.’ Oscar campaign here. In all fairness, it’s not just Warner Bros.; it’s pretty much every critic in the country and everyone who has seen the film so far. But seeing as how the press has been extremely tasteless lately in hailing Dark Knight as his last film just because it sounds better to sell papers, I can definitely see his side of it.
